Privacy Policy
How Shirehampton Roofing Company handles the personal information you give us.
Who we are
This website is operated by Shirehampton Roofing Company, a roofing business serving Shirehampton, Bristol and the surrounding areas. You can contact us about privacy by phone on 0800 494 7291 or through our contact form.
What we collect
When you use our quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address (if you choose to give it), your town or postcode, and the description of your roofing problem. If you phone us, we may note your name, number, address and details of the job.
Why we use it
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, arrange a visit, prepare a quote and carry out and guarantee any work you ask us to do. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business and keeping records of guaranteed work.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only where needed to deliver the service — for example with our website host, which stores form submissions — or where the law requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted when no longer needed. Records of work carried out are kept for as long as the guarantee and our legal and tax obligations require.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
